CMM HyperCel is a hydrophobic cation exchanger recommended for the capture of antibodies, antibody fragments, and recombinant proteins. Through pH and conductivity modulation, it enables the separation of proteins with similar isoelectric points.

CMM HyperCel resin consists of a rigid cellulose matrix with flow characteristics compatible with the requirements of protein production at manufacturing scale.
Its proprietary ligand, containing both a primary amine group and a carboxyl group, provides the chromatography resin with both cation exchange and hydrophobic interaction properties. The flexibility of the ligand enables the separation of proteins across a wide range of isoelectric points and hydrophobicity levels, allowing multiple operating conditions to be used to separate target molecules from impurities.
